From October 10th to October 12th, 2025, the team members of Finigate(Qingdao) International Logistics Co., Ltd. temporarily left the hustle and bustle of the city and the busy work, crossed mountains and seas, and headed to Mount Putuo in Zhoushan, known as the "Buddhist Kingdom on the Sea and Sky", to participate in a three-day and two-night cultural team building event themed "Calm Heart, United Strength". This was not only a physical journey, but also a spiritual purification and deep integration of the team.
Embark on the first day, journeying to the land of “Buddhist Kingdom on the Sea and Sky”
On the afternoon of October 10th, the team set sail from Qingdao and arrived smoothly at Zhoushan Putuo Mountain Airport in the evening. Amidst the golden glow of the setting sun, they boarded a ferry to embark on their pilgrimage to pay homage to Buddha.
With the sea breeze brushing against our faces and the sound of waves echoing, the cool mountain breeze carries the tranquil and peaceful human warmth. The moment we set foot on the sacred land of Putuo, the hustle and bustle seem to be cut off, and our restless hearts calm down accordingly. That evening, the entire team headed to a vegetarian restaurant for dinner, kicking off our journey of purifying the heart with a feast of pure vegetarian dishes.
The next day, I sought Zen and strolled through the glass pure land
On the second day of free time, we gave back the time to everyone. Some colleagues who sincerely believe in or want to deeply experience the Buddhist cultural atmosphere participated in the morning service at Puji Temple in the early morning. Amid the morning bells and evening drums of the thousand-year-old temple and the chanting of Buddhist scriptures, they felt their spirits cleansed and inner peace achieved. We traveled together, making pilgrimages to the three major temples: "Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, and Huiji Temple". Between the upturned eaves and the arch of wooden architecture, there lies the solemn grandeur of ancient architecture; amidst the curling incense smoke, there are the sincere wishes of everyone for work and life.
Walking along the mountain path, team members encouraged each other and finally arrived at the foot of the towering "Nanhai Guanyin Statue". Amidst the lingering incense, they gazed at the embodiment of a thousand-year-old faith. Their eyes looked through the statue of Guanyin to the figures of generations who had knelt before the Buddha statue for thousands of years, earnestly praying for national prosperity, good weather, health and well-being, and eternal happiness. The so-called "one glance for ten thousand years" signifies a look at the five-thousand-year historical heritage and cultural accumulation, a look at the never-fading faith and blessings, and a look at the expectations and visions for a better life in the future. Facing the compassionate and solemn statue and the boundless sea, they felt a sense of awe and reverence.
A three-day journey, filled with calming strength
On the final day of the journey, everyone packed their bags and embarked on the return trip to Qingdao. Although there was reluctance to leave, there were also significant gains. The lights of countless homes shimmered outside the plane's windows, reminding us that this is the real world. When the plane landed safely in Qingdao, this team-building activity came to a fulfilling conclusion. Everyone returned to their own unique light, gathering strength and determination to move forward bravely amidst their nostalgia for home and their hopes for the future.
Mountains and seas share a destiny, and the team is united in heart. This trip to Mount Putuo not only allowed the partners of Finigate(Qingdao) to appreciate the natural wonders of "immortal mountains on the sea, mountains in the misty void," and to be influenced and baptized by Buddhist culture, but also deepened mutual understanding and trust among them through traveling, eating, and gaining insights together, thereby strengthening the team's cohesion.
We believe that the strength drawn from tranquility and the friendship elevated through collaboration will be transformed into stronger cohesion and combat effectiveness in our work. Returning to our posts, all colleagues at Finigate(Qingdao) will surely work together with a clearer mindset and a more united attitude to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the future!
Only with a firm belief in the heart can one travel far. Finigate(Qingdao), with its unceasing steps, has a promising future ahead!
